  1. Site URL: https://www.halftijds.be Hi everyone, I'm looking for an automatic counter I can embed on blog posts and event items so people can see how many people have seen the page. I want to do this for every page i have so it has so i need a widget or code i can easily multiply. Anyone any ideas?
  2. Site URL: https://bachariasoloists.squarespace.com/events-one/thailand-international-composition-festival There is not much flexibility with Events detail pages. I would like to change the page width so it is consistent with other pages. Currently the width goes across the browser left and right. Does anybody know any code to change the page width of these Event detail pages. LINK: https://bachariasoloists.squarespace.com/events-one/thailand-international-composition-festival PASSWORD IS: password Thanks in advance
  3. Site URL: https://caper-harpsichord-tasl.squarespace.com/educator-workshops I'd like to set up pages with event grid summaries for each event category I'm setting up (there will be like 20+ categories). What's the best way to only display a specific category in grid form like this: https://caper-harpsichord-tasl.squarespace.com/educator-workshops? pw: art Thanks!!
  4. Site URL: https://www.coastalathletics.net/events Hey! On my event pages on the link listed above, I have form buttons placed on each page to collect registrations. I would love to have these placed in a more centralized location under the address of each event-specific post. I have searched for this capability and tried writing some code but have had no luck. Please let me know if you have questions, any help is greatly appreciated. Best, Patterson
  5. Site URL: https://caper-harpsichord-tasl.squarespace.com/ I have classes/events that require payment so each event is linked to the product. Is it possible to show when an event is sold out or has a small number of openings in an event summary block? Below is a mockup of what I'm trying to accomplish. Is this possible? un: https://caper-harpsichord-tasl.squarespace.com/ pw: art
  6. Is there a way to use CSS to transform an event Source URL div into a button? (without editing the page code in Developer mode) This code: <div class="eventitem-sourceurl">Source:: <a href="https://www.theirwebsite.org/shows/theirevent" class="eventitem-sourceurllink" target="_blank">https://www.theirwebsite.org/shows/their event</a></div> Renders like this: Source:: https://www.mayoarts.org/shows/blippi-the-musical I’d rather it were a button. I can give a.eventitem-sourceurllink the same style as a button, but then I get: Source:: HTTPS://WWW.theirwebsite.ORG/SHOWS/theirevent I want to: Remove the text “Source::” Have the URL show as (the title of the event) rather than the url of it I’m using an event collection in the Tudor template.
  7. It's really disappointing that we can't add events to our email campaigns. Anyone found a work around that doesn't require retyping or copying and pasting everything by hand before I give up?
  8. I'm working on a site for a client who is doing a beer/wine week style series of events, so the events list is going to be the most important element of the site. I'm hoping it's possible to code in a custom events page that's populated by info that the participating restaurants will input themselves. So, ideally, the process would go something like this: Participating restaurant pays a one-time fee to join --> gains access to a secure page where there's a form for them to upload all the content, info, logos, pictures --> content they upload automatically appears on a public events list page. I'm struggling to figure out where to begin. Does anyone know if this is possible or have any insights? Thanks!
  9. any recommendations for an external event calendar widget? the built-in event pages and calendar blocks aren´t working for my client. thanks guys!
  10. I am trying to add a block to the homepage of my org's website that will update itself whenever I create a new event and mark it as featured. I don't want the full calendar block on the homepage, just a smaller, more focused one specifically to highlight a featured event, so I don't have to manually update the homepage every time there's a new event we want to highlight.
  11. Site URL: https://wilsonmuseum.squarespace.com/calendar I'd like to limit the event listing under the calendar to the current month only. Is this possible? Site password: backflips!
  12. Site URL: http://queerladymagician.com I'm making event pages for a tour I'm going on soon. As it takes place in a different country to where I currently live, the timezones would be very different. Yet from the SquareSpace guides it looks like the timezone for events is set to my local timezone - which is going to be a problem for people who want to save the event to their own calendar! Is there a way to set the timezone for each event based on the location of the event itself?
  13. I have a client who has multi-day events they want to sell tickets for on Squarespace. E.g. one ticket would include admission to an event that takes place on 30 March, 11 May, and 15 June. As far as I can tell TOCK doesn't seem to support this? Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing on Squarespace before?
  14. Site URL: https://carillon-dachshund-d8bb.squarespace.com/events I'd like to completely remove dates and times from not only the event page: https://carillon-dachshund-d8bb.squarespace.com/events But also individual events: https://carillon-dachshund-d8bb.squarespace.com/events/event-one-zpm57 I'd like to be able to manually put that information in the text box and not use the squarespace date/time functionality
  15. Hi there, For some reason, my past events display the "View Event" button in list view, but my future or current events do not show this button. The theme we're using is extremely pared down -- it seems this button is easily edited on other templates. https://www.tradertoddsmarina.com/events I would like future events to show the "View Event" button as well. I am assuming this is a simple addition of code to the custom CSS window, but I can't even find what article to specify to make any modifications to the button. It's nested specifically under upcoming events, which adds a layer of confusion for me. Any help is appreciated! EDIT: I was able to hide it on past events by adding a.eventlist-button.sqs-editable-button {display:none;} -- but I'd still rather it show on both future and past!
  16. Hello! I am wondering if it's possible to provide my users with a link to subscribe to my calendar in some way using the Event feature / block calendar. I am not seeing a way to provide access to iCalendar or the link. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would prefer to use the Squarespace events since they look nicer, but could use Google Calendar if that is the better option. Appreciate any feedback!
  17. Please see Calendar Block Link Replace With Excerpt Link.
  18. Site URL: https://www.sidoti.com/events I want to get our events to show up when someone searches "x near me" or "online conferences". I have tried putting the event on Eventbrite which is another issue since it doesn't even show up in the searches there. What can I do to our Squarespace page or update the HTML to make this happen? I am fairly new to Squarespace and coding but have a more experienced team to help. Is there a step by step guide someone can link me too. Any idea why Eventbrite isn't even showing in their search. It's published, active, and public so I don't know what else the issue could be?
  19. Looking for a code that can either make my events on desktop center on the screen when thumbnails aren't being used or have the title of the events shift over so they aren't under the date tags on mobile view. I like the look of my site when the events on desktop have 'show thumbnails' selected but then not having any thumbnail displayed. Only problem with that is on mobile the event title is partly underneath the date tag on mobile view. So ideally a code to shift the title over a bit to the right on mobile would be the best but if not then a code to shift the events on desktop to center of the screen when no thumbnails are selected. Thanks
  20. I'm working on an events page. Squarespace has 2 options to show display the date: show "side tag" and show "with text". I prefer the look of the side tag, but it doesn't include the year of the event, which I find quite frustrating and confusing as I have events that are more than a year in the future--and also confusing when it comes to the past events to not know what year they happened. Is there any way to show both the "side tag" and "with text" (using custom css maybe?). Or does anyone have any other suggestions for how to include the year while also including the side tag? (Note: I don't want to include the year in the title because it looks awkward. I also don't want to include the year in the excerpt because then it will show up twice when you click on the individual event--unless there is a way to hide the date altogether when you click on the individual event so I can just display it in the excerpt? Is there a way to disable the option of clicking on the individual event?) I'm also wondering if there's any way to add a heading that says "Past Events" after the dividing line. I find the dividing line isn't obvious enough on either "side tag" or "with text" setting. Thanks!
  21. Site URL: https://www.hornbeamtraining.co.uk/courses#events-calendar Hi, My client has events which they sell as products. Primarily these are showcased on the calendar. Is it possible to grey out events that are in the past? (Ideally I don't want to hide past events) Secondly I wonder if it is possible to hide a product automatically when a date passes? (as these are an event). Although the 'store' page isn't openly showcased it is possible to get to it so want to ensure the messaging is consistent and correct! Any ideas on how best to approach this welcomed! 🙂
  22. Site URL: https://vatnaaskirke.squarespace.com/kalender Hello everybody, I would like some help with translating into Norwegian, - the month on the calendar - day + month on the single events On page: https://vatnaaskirke.squarespace.com/kalender PW 3355 Thank you in advance!
  23. Site URL: https://www.empoweringher.org/retreat-events/mothers-day-2022/boston Hi! How can I get rid of the like and share buttons that exist on this sites event pages: https://www.empoweringher.org/retreat-events/mothers-day-2022/boston TIA!
  24. Site URL: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com Hello! I'm working on a site for a client and would love some coding help!! Does anyone know the JS in order to link Event Titles to the Event's source URL? I've searched the forum and haven't found a working solution for this. (But maybe @tuanphan might have some insight into this?) I would like it to work on the Events page: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com/events-calendar, in Summary blocks that have events: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com/summary-block, as well as within the Calendar block: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com/calendar. (Basically, just anywhere that the Events title shows up, I'd like it to link to the source URL!). Password: draft My deepest gratitude in advance!
  25. Site URL: http://www.hornbeamtraining.co.uk/courses Hi, I simply want to edit the back to all events link to take customers back to the main course page (anchor link to the #events-calendar section) rather than to the rather ugly page with just the calendar on! Is anyone able to help? Here is one of the events https://www.hornbeamtraining.co.uk/online-events/o0oxsupoddg1u0ihrj44mbcn4shj6h-ww7gr-h6tbf-w3thj-sy2pe-rkjd3-by6yp Thank you in advance!!!
