  1. Site URL: https://hexahedron-salamander-wppe.squarespace.com/ Hi, is it possible to remove the tags and categories that show at the bottom of an event page? I want to keep the event tagged/categorized, but don't want it to be displayed.
  2. Site URL: http://queerladymagician.com I'm making event pages for a tour I'm going on soon. As it takes place in a different country to where I currently live, the timezones would be very different. Yet from the SquareSpace guides it looks like the timezone for events is set to my local timezone - which is going to be a problem for people who want to save the event to their own calendar! Is there a way to set the timezone for each event based on the location of the event itself?
  3. Site URL: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com Hello! I'm working on a site for a client and would love some coding help!! Does anyone know the JS in order to link Event Titles to the Event's source URL? I've searched the forum and haven't found a working solution for this. (But maybe @tuanphan might have some insight into this?) I would like it to work on the Events page: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com/events-calendar, in Summary blocks that have events: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com/summary-block, as well as within the Calendar block: https://draft-gbtl.squarespace.com/calendar. (Basically, just anywhere that the Events title shows up, I'd like it to link to the source URL!). Password: draft My deepest gratitude in advance!
  4. I have a client who has multi-day events they want to sell tickets for on Squarespace. E.g. one ticket would include admission to an event that takes place on 30 March, 11 May, and 15 June. As far as I can tell TOCK doesn't seem to support this? Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing on Squarespace before?
  5. I've been trying to get rid of "There are no upcoming events at this time" but I can't seem to delete the section, there is no trash can to delete it. I can't even erase the text. I also tried CCS codes but they didn't work. There has to be a way to get rid of it without deleting the events (that just deleted the whole page). Any help would be highly appreciated.
  6. Site URL: https://www.mohpa.org/ I'm trying enable the ability to display links visitors can use to add events to their Google and Ical calendars. . There are instruction to turn this feature on here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206543837-Events-pages. We use version 7.0 and the instructions say the following: Open an events page. In the Home menu, click Design, then click Site styles. In the Events section, check Show export links. Click Save to apply your changes. But when I go the Events section in Site Styles, "Show export links" isn't an option. Here's a screenshot of the option I have: Is there a reason the "Show export links" isn't appearing? Is there a way to make it appear, or is there another way to enable the links? Thanks!
  7. Hi there ! On the events page I would like to increase the font size of date and time of the event. Any idea what code should I inject or add to css? Many many thanks
  8. Site URL: https://www.intertwinediowa.com/upcoming-walks Password: TreeTalk I have not found an answer to this-- My client wants the 'View Event' button to point to a custom URL, since all events are third-party (various third parties) hosted. Thank you!
  9. Hi - I have to create a website and wondered if Squarespace would be able to handle it. I read the support articles for creating forms & linking/integrating with 3rd party websites, but I wanted to hear thoughts from actual users. The site will be for a 3 day event and will specifically need: A way for event attendees to buy tickets and then download/print right then and/or send a copy to their email. Each ticket will need to be unique with a barcode or similar so they can't be copied and shared. I don't yet know exactly how the tickets will processed at the gate, so how we do this might change. This seems like the biggest challenge. The event will have vendors who will rent booths beforehand. The site will need a signup form for these vendors and a way for them to pay. Booth prices will vary depending on size. This looks relatively easy. Classes & presentations - The event will feature over a dozen classes & presentations that attendees will sign up for beforehand. Most of the classes will sell out quickly, so we need the ability to have it switch to "Sold Out" once the maximum amount of seats are sold. I could close the registration manually, but that would be a pain. The event will have a competition where attendees will be able to enter an item and then have it judged. We need a basic form where attendees can register to enter and submit a photo/sketch of what they plan to enter. The site will have a blog, a map of the exhibit floor and other "basic" stuff like a list of vendors, a volunteer sign up form, contact info and similar. We'd like a way for attendees to be able to log back in and see what classes & presentations they've signed up for if possible. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  10. Hi there, For some reason, my past events display the "View Event" button in list view, but my future or current events do not show this button. The theme we're using is extremely pared down -- it seems this button is easily edited on other templates. https://www.tradertoddsmarina.com/events I would like future events to show the "View Event" button as well. I am assuming this is a simple addition of code to the custom CSS window, but I can't even find what article to specify to make any modifications to the button. It's nested specifically under upcoming events, which adds a layer of confusion for me. Any help is appreciated! EDIT: I was able to hide it on past events by adding a.eventlist-button.sqs-editable-button {display:none;} -- but I'd still rather it show on both future and past!
  11. Site URL: https://sona-music.squarespace.com/ On the Events landing page, I'd like a "View Event" button to show under the date for upcoming events. Currently, a button shows when events are past. Here's screenshots of a past event with button and an upcoming event without button This is the page I'm working on: https://sona-music.squarespace.com/concert-tickets password: Classical
  12. Site URL: https://www.leahwrobel.com/workshops Hi everyone, I’m having trouble figuring out this issue on my events page. For some reason, the upcoming events don’t display the “view event” button, but the past events do. I would like for all events, upcoming and past, to display the “view event” button. I’m hoping there’s a quick setting that I’m missing - any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  13. In version 7.0, when viewing an Events page, I could enable a "View Event" button for each event via design styles. I can't see how to enable that same button in version 7.1, is it available somehow?
  14. Site URL: https://theparkwaytheater.com/ I am trying to only show the event start time. I know the code to remove all of the time data is this ... .summary-metadata-item--event-time { display: none !important; } Anyone know if there is a way to only show the start time?
  15. I've tried every solution I could find here on the Circle forum, but none are working! page: https://theveil.squarespace.com/nfk (scroll down to "Upcoming Events" section) template: Royce I've got a Summary Block displaying Events, filtered by Category. When nothing matches the filter criteria, there is just a big black space on the page. I'd prefer it to automatically display text when the summary block is empty, like "There are no upcoming events at this location." Note: The Upcoming Events section on the page is actually a page (/nfk-events) nestled within an Index Collection (/nfk), in case it matters. Anyone have ideas / updates to the old solutions for this? (https://forum.squarespace.com/search/?&q=empty summary block&search_and_or=and&sortby=relevancy)
  16. Working for an nonprofit that sells a variety of products. Some are physical (merchandise -- dance gear, CDs, books), but our primary sales are event tickets, live workshops, and dance class series. We often have to send out updates about classes and events and have been doing so (until recently) by exporting our sales on Squarespace and copy/pasting email addresses into our company email, then sending from there--not through squarespace. It's been a total slog and it's time to start using squarespace as our main database for emails, marketing, and customer profiles. While we've successfully set up automated emails via Marketing to go out immediately after specific purchases, we'd like to have a way to easily send out follow up emails to those same customers. Is there is a way for Squarespace to automatically populate mailing lists based on costumers' specific purchases? We only recently upgraded to user profiles so part of my confusion comes from managing profiles... Feels like there should be a way to search our customer profiles for specific item purchases but I'm not finding them. I see that we can manually add tags to individual customers, but that seems a little backwards to me (ex. If I want to add a tag to customers who purchase purchased tickets to a specific show (ie - Tag: "Holiday Show 2021") how can I find out who purchased them without squarespace auto-generating that information in the profiles hub? Trying to figure out what makes the most sense when it comes to user profile management for the org at this time. I'm not opposed to using Eventbrite or Scheduling, I just feel like there is a way to manage mailing lists and send e-blasts through squarespace based on specific purchases. Is there? Hoping that this is possible/easy, and that I just am missing something obvious here.
  17. I would like to display the day of the week (in all caps) in front of my dates on my event summary pages. i.e. THURSDAY, February 3, 2022 I am currently using this code on the actual events page in the Page Header Code Injection, but its not capitalizing the days or carrying over to the summary pages. Am I putting it in the wrong place? Do I need to add additional code? and if so, where? I'm on brine 7.0. <style> var d = new Date(); var days = ["SUNDAY", "MONDAY", "TUESDAY", "WEDNESDAY", "THURSDAY", "FRIDAY", "SATURDAY"]; var months = ["January", "February", "March", "April", "May", "June", "July", "August", "September", "October", "November", "December"]; document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = days[d.getDay()] + " " + months[d.getMonth()] + " " + d.getDate() + " " + d.getFullYear(); </style>
  18. It's really disappointing that we can't add events to our email campaigns. Anyone found a work around that doesn't require retyping or copying and pasting everything by hand before I give up?
  19. I'm creating an event website, and when I call on the events in a summary block, the little date icon that is standard on brine isn't showing when the design is in "list" mode. It displays correctly in grids, carousel, and wall... but not list. What gives ? 😩 Anyone else having this issue? Any workarounds in css to get it to display? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
  20. I have been using squarespace.com for a few years now and am looking for an event registration platform so my students can register for my webinars. I was considering signing up for https://www.eventzilla.net/us/home, but would prefer to stay with you if you offer such a service? Please let me know if you have something like this in your menu of offerings for your squarespace customers. I hardly check these types of forums and worried I may forget to login and find a reply. If anyone feels like emailing me a reply, that would be amazing! If not, I understand and hope to check back in for answers. karyn@karynchabot.com. Thank you! 21. I have a site that's built with 7.1 and really would like to disable the individual event pages. My site has a lot of events, but each event isn't inputted with many details so those event item pages are pretty much useless and a way for readers to get lost... Does anyone know of any custom code to accomplish this? Disabling event item pages is the goal, but even just some code to remove the links from the event titles would be awesome. Many thanks!
  22. Site URL: https://swan-hypersphere-aweg.squarespace.com/archive-test-3 I am trying to get an archive block to link to past events (grouped by year) for our art gallery's website. But no matter what I seem to do, it will only link current events. When I press "Show Group Count" it gives an accurate number for these past years, but won't show anything when clicked. These past events are active and can be accessed through summary blocks, so it's not an issue with the event pages. This becomes more confusing when on the Squarespace help page for archive blocks it states " If you're displaying content from an events page, it's not possible to hide past events. " But I can't get it to show past events in the first place. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
  23. Site URL: https://www.ohioflyfishingguides.com/seaons Hi all, I am trying to remove the date tag on this summary grid page. I can remove the date tag on the event page itself, however, it doesn't seem to work here or provide any options. Any code or input would be very helpful. Thank you! See attached Screenshot for reference to what I am speaking about.
  24. Site URL: http://www.playtekitchen.com I made an events registration page, but on the "all events" page, there is no "add to cart" button next to my events. The user needs to click on the event to get to the "add to cart" function. Is there a way to get the "add to cart" to show up on the all events page for each event listed? Thanks for the help!
  25. Site URL: https://coconut-dolphin-d2rs.squarespace.com/upcoming-events/event-two-mtzrb-56k6s Hello, Is there a way to add content blocks to the left column of the Event Detail pages? I would like to add content blocks below the event title and meta data. I thought about using CSS to hide the left column so I can create a custom column with content blocks but then there is no way to change the event title. Here is a sample page: https://coconut-dolphin-d2rs.squarespace.com/upcoming-events/event-two-mtzrb-56k6s PW: torch Thank you, Jeff
