Add to cart button is disappearing?

Please help- my add to cart button has disappeared off every product in my shop. When I edit buttons while on a product page it appears, as soon as I exit editing its gone again. Whats going on?!!! I have no idea how long its been like this!

edited to add: seems the culprit is some custom code i added a long time ago. not sure what for. how do i remove it? custom css panel is blank?

Please post the URL for a page on your site where we can see your issue. For us to see the URL you need to include the link in the content of your post. The URL field the forum software provides is not shown to us.

A link to the backend of the your site won’t work for us, i.e. a URL that contains /config/.

Please set up a site-wide password, if your site is not public and you've not already done so.

Post the password here.

Adding a site-wide password does not allow anyone to alter your site. It only allows those with the password to see your site.

We can then take a look at your issue.

So squarespace support replied to me to let me know its likely some custom code causing the problem. I do remember adding some but can't remember what for its like 4 years old now.

The code is in Store Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for the store page. Please see per-page code injection.

Remove the following.

<style>

  .ProductItem-details .sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper {
  
    display : none;
    
    }
    
  </style>

This seems to have worked! I did get an error message, but can't see if that error has done anything unwanted:

Couldn’t update collection

These items cannot be set as Category ordered item ids because they do not belong to categories including 61a93714bcce345c755d1b2f
