Social links broken design in header (7.1)

I have social links in my site header and there seems to be a bug where the link icons are not actually in the container. This is occurring straight from the 'Add elements—social links toggle'. Is there a quick fix for this?

Add the following to Website > Website Tools > Custom CSS.

/* workaround for header social icon spacing issue */

.header-actions--right .header-actions-action--social {

  font-size : 0px;
  
  }

I suspect you have at some point modified the sites font styles perhaps increasing the size of some of the site elements?

This appears to be causing an issue with the spacing around the header social icons. I would consider this a Squarespace bug.

Yes, there was lots of site font styling adjustments I made—that must have been the route of the issue.
