  1. That article was very helpful. I did find a calculator (Calconic) that has a much lower cost. I hope to integrate into the Squarespace checkout, just like the article explains. I will just try to use the output from the code. If that does not work it has its own payment but only PayPal. If someone knows how to get the number into the Squarespace payment automatically great. I will update this if I figure it out.
  2. I can find videos about almost everything. All about colors, fonts, photos, etc. I don't need help with any of that. I just want to get paid for my service. I am a home inspector. There are different kinds of inspections. Pricing depends on square footage, number of stories, steepness of the roof, zip code. There are also out buildings by square footage, pools, etc. I wish I could hide a spreadsheet and just have the inputs and the price just go into the cart. I have given up on using the schedule. What would be the best way to handle this?
  3. I have a Business degree and I agree and I don't agree. This idea can go sideways on you fast. If I ordered a pizza and got a pizza with different topping I would be very upset and never order again. What you should say is called under promise and over deliver. They order a pizza, you tell them it will be delivered in 50 minutes. It arrives in 40 minutes. If you sent a free drink that sounds great too. But then the next time they order they will expect the free drink and be upset if they don't get it. However they most likely won't even notice the pizza arrived 10 minutes early. Each time they order you tell them longer than it will take it will arrive early but exactly the same amount of time early. The customer is happy, they tip more, the delivery drive gets a better tip, the driver is happy, you get more sales, and you are happy. It should always be a win-win. However, be careful you don't attract the complaining customer that wants free stuff. For most people throwing in stickers is great. Most people love getting stickers. I put them on the wall in my garage. Where do you put stickers?
  4. Will there be another scheduler besides Acuity? While it might work for most. I need one that can handle my variable pricing. I don't need people scheduling without actually paying for my services. My prices change by square feet, stories, number of buildings, zip code and more. It is not just a simple three options and move on. If Acuity is the only option I will have to not have scheduling on the website.
