There's a number of video issues not playing currently with background images in different browsers, email squarespace support about it. They are aware of the issue and have been negligent in fixing it even though it's been going on for weeks.

On squarespace 7.0, the banner videos do not work in Chrome. Support is already aware of this and are actively ignoring / not fixing the bug even though this likely affects thousands of people. Please fix the issue ASAP

Same Banner Video not Playing / Header Video not Playing issue as of October 22 2023. It works in Safari, but not in Chrome. Have emailed them a few weeks ago and they are ignoring the issue even though they are aware of it. Pretty bad customer service for a trivial issue.
