  1. Ok, I'm just guessing here, but maybe you should keep the thumbnail on the gallery. Maybe the script could be modified to work even with "No Thumbnail" but right now I think it pretty much relies on it. Hopefully that's all.
  2. Sorry, @fuzzykit I couldn't find the button or the script loaded there. Where are they supposed to be, exactly? Maybe they're in a page we can't see unless you link it to us. I'm actually amazed my script is still working 1 year later... It doesn't matter if the page is linked or not, at all. The gallery grid could have an effect, but probably not as well. Try looking on the javascript console for error messages, they are usually very helpful. That 5 minute challenge does sound interesting. :)
  3. Out of so many possible ways to do it, this is how I've done it: http://www.cregox.com/full-video/ There are quite many steps and options there. Here I'll write the most simplified version, with very basic steps which might not be so easy to follow but should be enough if you know how to find your way: First, .Then, create a link anywhere you want with this updated to your video ID: javascript:jqueryLightbox('RpLBR38kVvY'); Then, add the following script somewhere: <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.4/jquery.min.js"></script> <script n
  4. @neeklamy not at all. That's not to say you couldn't find a similar tool for each other platform. I doubt one for wordpress would be this simple to build, though.
  5. This is absolutely awesome! Beautiful. :) You don't even need to open the console. You could simply use a "javascript:" on the url like this: javascript: var script = document.createElement('script'); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://squarefront.squarespace.com/scripts/template-info.js'; document.head.appendChild(script); And then you can also select this and move into as a bookmark. There, we now have a simple "button"! :D
  6. basically same trick, using YUI javascript: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/35218/disable-grid-views-lightbox/38178
  7. http://talk.cregox.com/t/remove-any-image-click-link-lightbox-from-gallery-page/7513/2?u=cawas similar answer, before I even saw yours ;P
  8. Slightly related, exporting to wordpress is the second best backup solution you can have right now, while being the only one that will allow for importing later: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/19617/can-we-duplicate-an-existing-site-on-squarespace/73710
  9. You could also do it with some jquery: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/32690/open-video-in-lightbox/73362
  10. Also, I suppose that video isn't on that link anymore. There is this other one, though: http://www.squarespace.com/seven/
  11. very similar question: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/4182/how-can-i-lightbox-an-embedded-video-full-screen-without-coding
  12. Yeah, precisely the whole procedure indeed. Also, you should try tunebeach's suggestion, which sounds awesome. ;)
  13. I meant two codes from google. They're as different as the code in itself suggests: big-container and small-container. Sorry, I never meant this post to be easy to read for who don't know how to hack... It would become too big! :P
  14. And do you happen to know where I can find a list with all the ID s and correspondent template? Or would I have to look one by one? That nerdy data thing is awesome, and it might help if we're lucky enough to find the own squarespace template's site within its search, but I couldn't.
