HELP - Site completely died / template broken

just had the same happen to one of my sites, only on certain pages but showing up as plain text in all the browsers / not displaying images etc. Guess we just wait it out?

nope, there is a red progress loading bar at the top that animates down to cover the screen and looks like it becomes the background of the page

the site in question is in wordpress and it is not a site i have back end access to, I have a client that is asking if this is possible to do in squarespace but dont want to say yes and not be able to do or how to even begin approaching it in sqaurespace
