I've contacted IndexNow twice about how to set this up on Squarespace. No reply so far.

Sorry, I checked just now noticed your reply. It's fixed now. If I remember correctly, I think the problem was caused by an unclosed <b> somewhere on the page. -

I've been searching for an answer to this and have not found any. With a Squarespace site, apparently it is impossible to canonicalize a page (because Google ignores the rel="canonical" if there are more than one). -
Does anyone have an answer to this, please? I've researched this and everything says to add a rel="canonical" tag to the header of a page. In Squarespace this is pointless because SS automatically adds that to every page, and if there are 2 such tags on a page, Google ignores them. So apparently I cannot canonicalize a webpage. Is there any way to replace SS's default canonical tag from one webpage on my site?

I'm experiencing the same issue. My home page (and only my home page), all the paragraph text is bold. It looks bad. I right clicked the page and viewed source, but their are no html bold tags to explain this. When I'm editing the page, it looks correct. But visiting the page incognito, from any browser, every paragraph is bold text. -

Google has stated that come May 2021, this will be a direct ranking factor. So this is one more arrow in the quiver of those asserting that SS is bad for SEO. In this case, Google has told us that using the old JPG or PNG types is decidedly bad for SEO.
