Guest Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 The Instagram block is great for pulling images from your personal account. But I'd like a way to aggregate photos from multiple users around a specific hashtag. This is a great way for getting a good sense of an event, in real-time.
avsmithy Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 It looks like this would be possible using the Instagram API, but it would required a large amount of Javascript coding.
daniyadani Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Hi you can use instush, they have all kinds of galleries check it here add Embed Block to your page, click the setting and paste the embed code from instush
mathieubr Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Instush stopped working for me today, I guess someone has already asked Squarespace support for this hashtag selection feature in the Instagram block?
Alan-Squareflair Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 You could probably find a way to do this with RSS. Instagram has a publicly accessible RSS API; it currently works for tags. So, essentially you could come up with your own unique tag (tip: use a password generator) #1xwf4Oi27U For tags the syntax is:http://instagr.am/tags/some-tag-you-want-to-use/feed/recent.rss Here's an official blog post about it (although it covers only tags): Introducing Hashtags on Instagram.
Guest Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Hi, using an external widget like Intush is the way to go. I used SnapWidget and it worked a treat for me. Simply design your gallery and nominate your hashtag on SnapWidget, and then copy and paste the code into your squarespace using the embedding function. This is a free solution too.
Daljeet Kaur Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Instush is really a great way to share your image gallery on the website. You can design your gallery and share it on your website.
Jordi Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Hi, you can also use Hashslider - The real-time Instagram Slider
Alan-Squareflair Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I don't see a way to use Hashslider on another site though.
hunt4hardy Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Another embeddable widget solution with loads of options: http://embedmyphotos.com
Flickrit Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Hi, This might be able to help you out. We've expanded our platform to not only include Flickr slideshows but also Instagram slideshows as well. It's a free online slideshow creator that generates html embed codes with some cool background and caption options! Feel free to check it out @ http://flickrit.com Sincere Regards, Peter
Guest nsserin Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 @dhaber I have the same question and am wondering if any of these solutions worked for you? Thanks

But I'd like a way to aggregate photos from multiple users around a specific hashtag. You can try this one http://hashslider.com. It's free and easy to use. Set your slideshow in a few steps and start enjoying! No matter what kind of event you do, it will fit perfectly in weddings, concerts, conferences, congresses, birthdays or any event you can imagine.
rosenaquin Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Instagram is the most recent social media phenomenon science 2010. The plugins on offer differ depending on your needs.Alpine Photo Tile for Instagram is simple-to-use but very comprehensive, and is one of the most stylish WordPress Instagram plugins.
MrRa Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I recommend Slidesome! You can create free slideshow with images and videos from Instagram, Twitter and Facebook events. Their free plan is great, I used it for my wedding. The website is https://slidesome.com
