colin.irwin Posted December 9, 2015 Share Posted December 9, 2015 Videos will not autoplay on Android / iOS. The restriction is implemented at the operating system level to protect device owners from having their download allowance consumed by content they may not be interested in. A poster image can be defined for videos that will be used as a preloading screen and also as a static fallback image on Android and iOS. There are ways around this, using scripting, but I'd recommend using the static image fallback. If you're looking for a Squarespace Developer, drop me a line. Link to comment

So are you saying that I can create a poster image with the video arrow, that would then link to the video. Can I do this in SquareSpace? Right now I have a "Mobile fallback" image in place on the home page. I don't see the option to link that to a video.Your advice would be greatly appreciated.@silvabokis Link to comment
