cosmic_cobweb
Hello-- I have not figured out how to add CSS to one page only. I am trying to change the header background of this homepage only while keeping the headers of the remaining pages a solid color. I can only make the background appear if the heading style is set to "adaptive." Also, everytime I edit my css code, it alters every page instead of one page, despite adding the collection ID to CSS or going to the cog icon for that page. Can someone please assist with this. Getting frustrated and losing a lot of time trying to figure out what I thought would be a simple task! This is the code I have currently that is not working: } collection-662e5a98796ba234a49abd1c header.Header {background-image: url(https://kelseyautumn.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/WebShadows-scaled-e1719414045399.jpg)!important; background-size: cover; background-position: center center; background-repeat: no-repeat; } It is added to the website by clicking website tools > css Link to comment
Ziggy
You do need an # in front of the collection ID: #collection-662e5a98796ba234a49abd1c header.Header {background-image: url(https://kelseyautumn.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/WebShadows-scaled-e1719414045399.jpg)!important; background-size: cover; background-position: center center; background-repeat: no-repeat; } Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. The header background isn't appearing at all now--whether I have the header layout set to solid or adaptive. I'd ideally like to have solid throughout the website with just the homepage header bar having the background. Link to comment
