Customising font for portfolio hover: background list

Hi there,

I'm looking for a code to customise the font on the portfolio hover:background title list.

I've tried a bunch of codes and none of them seem to work.

Use this CSS Code

a:hover span.portfolio-hover-item-content {
    font-style: italic;
}

If it doesn't work, you can share link to portfolio on your site, I can check again easier.
