kaydotjpg
https://david-bly-nevg.squarespace.com/ password: festif2024 Hi! I am building this website for a client. The pointed how the buttons, which you can see if you scroll down the homepage are slightly off-centered, vertically. I assume this is happening because I am using a custom font. Is there coding that will scoot the text down just a hair? Thank you! Link to comment
Ziggy
What do you have the button text line height set to? This is probably easiest adjusted with line height, or by tweaking the top and button padding to different values. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! kaydotjpg
@Ziggy thanks for the quick response. Where can I find the line height for the buttons? I adjusted the options you see in the screenshot, but that did nothing. Link to comment
Ziggy
Should be in the text settings. If not we can adjust in CSS. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! kaydotjpg
@Ziggy I tried the line height in the text settings, but no luck 🤨 what the heck. Would love that CSS Ziggy 1 Link to comment
Ziggy
I think it must be inherent to the font, try this CSS: .sqs-block-button.sqs-stretched .sqs-block-button-element { padding-top: 8px !important; } Just adding a small amount of top only padding to even it out, feel free to adjust that number to your liking! kaydotjpg
@Ziggy Thanks for providing that CSS, unfortunately it did not work. I tried adjusting the number, saving, refreshing, but nothing. Would you happen to have another code that could work? Link to comment

kaydotjpg
@Ziggy shoot, this didn't work either. Maybe it's because I'm using a custom font? Ziggy 1 Link to comment
Ziggy
One more shot! .sqs-button-element--primary, .sqs-button-element--secondary, .sqs-button-element--tertiary { padding-top: 8px !important; } Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. kaydotjpg
@Ziggy I just went through all of my CSS and I don't see anything directed towards the buttons - besides the custom font which you can see below. Hmmmm 😣 .sqs-block-button-container a{ font-family: Gonero!important; } Link to comment
Solution tuanphan Posted March 27 Solution Share Posted March 27 This problem usually comes from Custom Font, I have seen it a number of times. Try CSS code like this to equal space a.sqs-block-button-element--medium.sqs-button-element--primary.sqs-block-button-element { display: block !important; height: auto !important; padding-top: 15px !important; padding-bottom: 15px !important; } Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.).
