Custom font appears different on Safari than on Chrome

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, i try to figure out the problem, why our custom font "futura pt book" on our website www.itpiececlub.com looks great and as intended on chrome but looks strange on safari, both web or mobile. I also tried installing the medium version of the font as suggested in a different blogpost but it looks very different altogether again.

also in safari, the headlines appear thinner than on the chrome versions, but the text inside the buttons appears thicker, which is even stranger to me. I would be really happy if someone has a solution as squarespace just answered they cant help...

Thanks everyone!

If you have otf, woff, woff2 file, try this new font face code

@font-face {
    font-family: IPCfont;
    src: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/64395f72dd3a9d5383240343/t/64eb6dfce812f03c5dee7b2a/1693150716167/FuturaPT-Book+2.ttf);
    src: url(enter otf url here), url(enter woff url here), url(enter woff2 url here);
}

Thank you @tuanphan and sorry for the late reply, only got a notice now, that you replied. So do you suggest installing all different formats of the font on Squarespace all together?

Yes, you try declaring all (or 2-3 formats)
