  1. Hello, I have an issue with my laptop and WebGL, it doesn't work on Chrome. All animations and effects using WebGL (like the new scroll block or the liquid, film grain, ect..) are not showing at all. I've tried other browers and they work perfectly. On this website: https://www.gentileza.es I can't see the grain effect, just all black. When going to https://get.webgl.org/ I see the cube, everything works fine on every other website but on squarespace, nothing works... Any idea of why that's happening ?
  2. Site URL: https://www.countiesenergy.co.nz/residential/connections Hi there, We are having an issue with a module on a page on our website. https://www.countiesenergy.co.nz/residential/connections The section is not appearing as it should. The cache on the device/browser (iphone13/chrome) has been cleared but the problem persists. The section was built using custom code. Can anyone help? Thank you! Sam
  3. Site URL: https://www.lfcrossfit.com/ Problem: CSS is not loading on the homepage when a user redirects to the homepage from another page on the website by clicking the logo button. Seems like an issue with the way the logo homepage link redirects? If I visit the website by URL: https://www.lfcrossfit.com/ , the CSS loads as expected Recreate Issue: 1. Visit another page on the website https://www.lfcrossfit.com/coaches 2. Refresh the page (not always needed) 3. Hit the logo in the center of the Header (LivingFit Crossfit) to direct to the homepage 4. CSS should not load properly (if it loads properly, try adding in step #2) Notes CSS is injected on both: 1. Page through Page Settings > Advanced > PAGE HEADER CODE INJECTION 2. Index through Index Settings > Advanced > PAGE HEADER CODE INJECTION

  5. Site URL: https://www.securview.com Hi. On my site when using Chrome or Edge browser, when you jump to different pages there is a slight delay in loading images. For half a second all the text loads but there is a white background on the page. It happens to fast that it's got like a flicker effect. I did some research and it might have to do with how the browser loads the page and any javascript. Personally I can live with it, but my company wanted me to find a solution. If I can't control the speed in which this loads, can i at least change the temporary background color to black to prevent this "flicker" appearance? Is this CSS code or javascript? where do i insert such code? what is the actual code?
  6. Site URL: http://www.jeffbierman.com/ariana-grande-1 I am having trouble with YouTube videos loading on my site. All of the videos that I have linked from my Vimeo account play fine on all browsers, but the two clips I have that are linked from YouTube don't load or even show a thumbnail in Safari on Mac or iOS, but they work fine in Chrome on both my laptop and phone. It's essential for me to be able to present these works of mine on an apple device. Has anyone experienced this or know what could be causing the issue? I have had my site for a long time, maybe 8 years and I only just have noticed this issue. These are the two pages with YouTube links that don't work: http://www.jeffbierman.com/ariana-grande-1 http://www.jeffbierman.com/halsey-1 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  7. Site URL: https://www.nathanperkel.com/playing-to-the-gods I have a weird 1 px border that shows up at the bottom of the gallery image window in galleries with more than 10 images. Ive tried playing with it and it seems like at a certain point of adding images to the gallery the border will start to appear. I have not seen it happen in Safari and included the image below as an example of what im seeing. (Chrome on left Safari on right) The site is custom code and should be set to developer mode, however the developer that wrote the code isnt reachable anymore. Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank You
  8. Hi! I just created my website, and I have a Commerce feature where I sell my products. Whenever I try to access this feature, be it while logged into my Squarespace account or even on the website on someone else's computer, it says the page isn't found. This is driving me up the wall, as I input all the necessary information and obsessively double checked that I had created the page. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Thank you!
  9. Site URL: https://www.lewisrossignolart.com/ Hi everyone, On the homepage of my clients site I have a few product summary blocks. The variant selector is styled correctly, however the css styles don't work on Safari & Chrome so far. Oddly enough I was able to change the font family (using the code below) for Safari Mobile app on IOS explicitly. However, I wasn't even able to change the font color using this code...only the font family. Any help is appreciated. .sqs-block-product .data-variant-option-name { font-family: amatica sc; -webkit-appearance: none; appearance: none; }
  10. Site URL: https://www.awakenkali.com/ Hello, I've uploaded a font to squarespace and added the CSS code but it doesnt show on some computers/browsers like safari. Any advice? 11. Site URL: http://www.thepeak1group.com/home Hi there, I'm using the following CSS code (in Custom CSS under the Design tab, in a 7.0 Brine family site) to add drop shadows to specific images: This works *perfectly* on Chrome and I never realized there were issues with it until working with a client this week who primarily uses Safari (I work on Chrome) -- he noticed that there were "breaks" in the drop shadows across the site where I'd used the code to create the shadows. I even tried a code to add drop shadows to ALL images universally (instead of using block IDs to isolate specific ones) and still ran into issues...but only on Safari. Is there a fix for this? Or something that needs to get added/edited/removed from the code that would enable Safari to recognize it and implement it correctly? Or another code entirely that would help Safari read it correctly? This is my first time running into cross-browser issues. Attaching an image from each browser for a "shadow break" example. Thanks so much!

  13. Site URL: https://chihuahua-parrot-rjda.squarespace.com/ I've added a custom font (both woff and woff2 files) and it's working fine for Chrome but not Safari. Safari is showing up as a serif font, even though the font pack selected in squarespace is sans serif (Neue Haas). Here is my code: @font-face {font-family: 'Banana-Grotesk-Regular'; src:url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6099b1999f075203e3da1346/t/609cbd37811c1e67f7a48445/1620884791285/BananaGrotesk-Regular.woff) format('woff'), url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6099b1999f075203e3da1346/t/609cbd3ca6cf026bb5edcc79/1620884796131/BananaGrotesk-Regular.woff2) format('woff2'),} .header-nav *, nav.header-menu-nav-list * { font-family: 'BananaGrotesk-Regular' !important;} Site URL: https://chihuahua-parrot-rjda.squarespace.com/ Site password: RG999!!! 14. Site URL: https://cinnamon-iris-tzrt.squarespace.com/ Hi there, For some reason there is a huge blank space below the footer. It ONLY appears on my ipad and ONLY on Chrome. I had figured it out but since then I removed some CSS code and accidentally removed the footer code. I looked EVERYWHERE! Removing all CSS code didn't solve the problem either. Please help: pw: 2020 Thanks in advance Anthony
  15. Does anyone know why this happens every time I open Chrome's Developer tools while my website is in development mode? It never use to happen before but has been happening for awhile now.
  16. I am not a web design person or programer, so what I am asking is not in my wheelhouse. Any help would be appreciated. My customers are not tech savvy and quite often I have to have them download a file from my website. The hardest and longest part of the process with my customer is getting the file download and installed on my customer's computer. I created a page with a clickable link to the file. Is there a way to have an animation or image of an arrow that points to the downloaded file in my end user's browser once they click the link to download the file? Safari's download list is an icon at the top right of the Safari window, Chrome's is at the lower left of the Chrome window, etc. I have seen other sites that visually show the user where the download goes once they click the link (I can not think of a site that does this right now).
  17. Site URL: https://markusgjengaar.com/ Hi! I've made a custom HTML/CSS code that could play a video on my front page. The video works on Safari (both mobil and desktop) and it works on Google Chrome on my iPhone. However the video does not work on Chrome Desktop version for some reason. It used to work, but now it does not play anything. It's just a blank black space where the video should be. Anyone out there knows whats happening? Here is my code: <section class="Intro"> <video class="Intro-video" src="/s/Hero-Home-page_v4.mp4" preload="auto" autoplay="auto" playsinline="auto" muted="auto" loop="auto" > </video> </section> <style> .Intro-video { width: 100%; height: 100%; -o-object-fit: cover; object-fit: cover; pointer-events: none; background-size: cover; background-position: center; position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; } .Intro { width: 100%; height: 80vh; -webkit-user-select: none; -moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none; user-select: none; position: relative; overflow: hidden; z-index: 1; } </style>
  18. Site URL: https://tomato-porpoise-bb3a.squarespace.com/config/design/custom-css Wondering if anyone could possibly help. I am trying to add a snap scrolling feature to my site where it snaps in vertical sections. Seems to work so far but when viewed on Chrome it is snapping super fast - is there a way to improve the CSS code to make it a smoother transition?? Any help at all would be super welcome.
  19. Hi, I'm seeing a strange issue with mouseover/hover on H1 blocks on a client's page (video attached). When you hover over the text, the expected result is for each of the H1s (Idealism, Integrity, Imagination) to transition to a different color, which it does. But what you can see in the video is that each hover is also producing some weird additional blocks (extending the uppercase "I"s, the height of the periods, producing a line just over "m" and first "a" in "Imagination". The client is using LESS for their CSS, but the class that controls this section is nothing too complicated: .right-text-container { margin-top: -2vw; h1 { font-family: "Helvetica Neue"; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; .font-size(84 * @PT); .line-height(97 * @PT); text-align: right; letter-spacing: -0.025em; cursor: pointer; transition: color 0.25s ease-in-out; &.hover:nth-child(1):hover { color: #839b99 !important; } &.hover:nth-child(2):hover { color: #d3b64f !important; } &.hover:nth-child(3):hover { color: #c84d26 !important; } } } Another couple strange things: It seems to only happen in Google Chrome It only happens over a certain desktop with (if I reduce the width of the browser window, it goes away) Has anyone seen something like this before? Thanks! Weird behavior on hover.mp4
  20. Site URL: http://mamondeconservation.com Hi all, I am having an issue with the automatic translation offered by Google translate. I have built a bilingual website with a "Home" page (via the link above) which works as an entry page to the two independent websites, one in English the other in Spanish. My issue is that the name of my company, which shows in the Home page, is officially in English. When entering the Home page from a Chrome browser configured in Spanish, it automatically translates the name of the company into Spanish, making no sense at all and it is totally misleading. Also, the two buttons that forward to the two websites in the two languages, are translated wrong. "English" is correctly translated into "Inglés", but "Spanish" is translated into "English" (????). Is there a way to disable this automatic translation at least for the HOME page? many thanks in advance!!!!
  21. Site URL: http://www.mercedesfamousscreenwriting.com Hello, Hope all is well! I am getting an error with Chrome's Facebook Pixel Helper stating that the pixel is firing multiple times. The thing is, this only happens when I'm on backend of my website - the domain Squarespace gave me (https://disc-guava-dcds.squarespace.com/) but it doesn't happen when I'm on the actual site of what the customers will see (www.mercedesfamousscreenwriting.com). Does anyone know how to help this? I'm not sure how the pixel got added to the built-in domain. Or is that normal? Thank you, Mercedes
  22. Hello! I use a large Heading 1 and a smaller Heading 4 on my site and they look great on Firefox, but on Chrome and Safari all of the heading styles appear as the same size. Is there any fix for this? Thanks!
  23. Site URL: http://www.timjobling.co.uk Hi, I've recently added image fades to the images on my homepage and I have come across a glitch when viewing the site in Chrome and Safari. When you scroll down the page the images load fine, however if you click through to a gallery page and then go back to the homepage anything that hadn't previously loaded will not show until the page has been refreshed. I have attached video to show the issue. This doesn't seem to happen when viewing the site in Firefox. I have cleared all browsing history and made sure everything is up to date so I have no idea what is going wrong. I have checked other sites that use the same image fades and the same problem seems to occur there too. Has anyone come across this before and have a solution? Thanks, Tim. TJ_WEB.mov TJ_WEB.mov
  24. Site URL: https://www.ashleycantley.com/ Hey there! Has anyone been experience issues with some images no longer loading for some websites, particularly on CHROME. Have checked in New Incognito as well and multiple computers. For example, this one: https://www.ashleycantley.com/ the top image (just a plain Image Collage with no Animation and have checked if having AJAX checked or not changes things). It loads totally fine on Safari, but no longer on Chrome and this wasn't an issue a week ago. It's Squarespace 7.0. Anyone have insight on this?
  25. Hi Everyone First time posting so apologies for any mistakes. We currently have a site being developed and we've had some custom code put on to the landing page. The code creates a search widget which is linked to our vacation rental software. Once the code was complete and uploaded to the site we requested some minor changes, the problem we have is that you can see the old version on safari and when you make the window smaller you can see the new lines in behind. The new up to date code looks ok on chrome. is this an issue with the browser or the code? Any support on the matter would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance David
