Personal plan

I already have a personal plan but in order to purchase another domain, Squarespace made me buy another plan. Why didn’t it recognize that I already have a plan? Or do you need to buy a new plan for every domain you buy?

I already have a personal plan that I bought when I purchased a domain. How many new webpages and domains can I create and host under this plan?
