Digital Product/Course Free Access Loophole

I tested out the user experience for a digital course I'm offering and when I clicked on the course to purchase, the first pop-up was "Create an Account", so I put in my info and then it took me to the checkout pop-up. I didn't pay, but when I reopened my website I was automatically logged in to the course area and I had access to the paid content for free. Has anyone else experienced this? I hope my explanation makes sense and someone can assist!
