heidi2
Rebuilding a website for a small arts center. Is it possible to import a member database with membership expiration month either as "customers" or as "members"? Or even to input manually? This would be for the purposes of reminding them to renew their subscription every year. Some members are elderly and will not cope well with being prompted to make a new account. Link to comment
LJCarter
Hey @heidi2 If I am understanding you correctly, you're asking if you can make a list of people to remind them to renew their memberships? If so, it sounds like you may be okay just using email campaigns for this an creating a specific list of those contacts to use annually if they aren't interested in an account login anyway. You can manually upload lists to the email system in that case. If you're asking about member areas specifically, in my experience with them so far, you cannot sign people up manually. Huge issue for one of my clients and they opted to use https://membershipworks.com/ instead so they had more control over individual membership options and settings. Another client of mind opted for https://www.memberspace.com/ for some additional control as well. Not sure if that answers your specific question but hopefully it was a bit helpful. Link to comment
heidi2
Thanks. I think I will opt for the first solution and do an email list for each month. Members renew on a rolling basis, not all at once on the same date each year, unfortunately. I have used memberspace, but not membershipworks. I think both of these solutions look great would be overworking the solution for this small organization. Thank again for taking the time to help! Link to comment
