I'm looking at adding a logo GIF I have created to a Squarespace website I am working on as a splash screen, that appears a few seconds before the home page loads. I have found a few codes to implement this, but unfortunately this logo appears each time the home page is clicked on (and the home page I'm working on is also a portfolio page, so whenever a portfolio page link is clicked the logo also appears). I was wondering if there was a plugin or code I could use to implement the GIF I've created to work on both desktop and mobile, but only appear once per session on the home page?
