If I want to upgrade to business, can I then switch back to personal if I don't require the business package?

I'm considering switching to a business account, just so that I can get the thumbnail image.

You can change your plan at any time. Just know that if you do yearly it's harder to switch mid cycle and will require speaking to support to see if it can be done early or if you would have to wait until the billing cycle is over. What are you wanting thumbnail images for?

Maybe thumbnail image was the wrong word. I just want an actual logo to appear in Google next to my site, as opposed to the squarespace box, see attched

Oh! You don’t need business for that. You just need to add a favicon to your site. It may take a bit to index on google but it will eventually.
