Redirect to a Password Projected Page

Hello! I need to password project one of my project pages, but currently Squarespace doesn't offer that. I'm trying to fake it by having my project page in the collection redirect to a password protected unlinked page.

At the bottom, there's a link for "Grapeseed Media" which is hosted at the URL https://remydavison.com/projects/grapeseed-media

I'd like to redirect it to: https://remydavison.com/grapeseed-media

I've used URL redirects before, but for some reason, this won't work. Here's everything I have down for URL mappings:

/reporting -> /writing 301
/projects/grapeseed-media -> /grapeseed-media 301

Does someone know how to fix? Line 1 works, but line 2 doesn't.

You can add a password to a project page by clicking it and clicking the page settings gear icon.

Under General, toward the bottom, enter the password you want to use.

Or does that not work for you?
