MichelleCW
Hi, everyone. I've been designing for a while now, but feel completely like I am losing my mind. I am redoing a website and need to get the template back to the original Squarespace template that was chosen at the time of purchase. Is there a way to reset a current template back to the original demo template? I know that I can go in and recreate the website to the client's liking, but really just would love to see the demo of what they were trying to go for initially and save myself some work in creating things from scratch. No. You can reset the template's style tweaks to their original colours, fonts and other styles in the Site Styles panel, but you cannot reset demo content. For that you'll need to start a new trial. creedon
If the site is v7.1 then there is no reset back to the template as it was when the site was created feature. You are pretty much left with a manual process to get back to a particular point. You could try to find the original template, start a new trial site from that template and copy the settings manually. MichelleCW 1 Find my contributions useful?
