Does anyone know how to export reviews

It is not yet possible to export reviews that were collected using Squarespace's Product Reviews feature. You can make a feature request by contacting Squarespace Customer Care using a support ticket.

Hi Paul, I see you literally all over this forum. So you probably know, has Squarespace offered some feature yet to export their store reviews to an XML Schema for uploading to Google Shopping?

Here's the link to Google's explanation of how to do this: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7045996?hl=en&ref_topic=7309501&sjid=9874356144054562499-NA

I believe it gives you three ways to get reviews on Google Shopping, yet to use the reviews submitted to Squarespace the only option would be uploading them yourself via an XML file.

The built-in reviews feature on Squarespace is currently very basic and doesn't have import or export features (except importing from Etsy).

For more advanced review features, you may want to consider evaluating one of the third party review services that are available, like Judge.me. Assuming you are selling physical products (third party extensions don't yet work for other product types), this is available as a Squarespace extension. Judge.me supports uploading your reviews.

Do you know if judge.me, or any of the other plugins are capable of collecting reviews without a product sale?

I believe you can send product review requests manually by uploading a CSV on a judge.me paid plan. However as you mentioned Yelp, I should probably point out that these will be for product reviews, not business reviews.

If you can provide more details about what you want to be able to achieve and where you are located, forum users may be able to offer more advice.

Thanks @paul2009, you're right - more context would probably help - I'm trying to build a site to both (1) search businesses under a certain dropdown criteria - ex. hours open, services provided, neighborhood (would a universal filter be appropriate?) and (2) allow people to post star reviews with comments on each business like a yelp where you have to create an account and then can rate businesses.

The second one is important - allowing reviews of businesses. I would want to be able to (but not required to) check the reviews before posting, but since there is no transaction on the site, there won't be customers who receive a prompt to write a review.

Eventually, it would be great to also have a chat option to connect people to the businesses, or even each other. Is that possible on squarespace?
