How to align the logo to the content +

Hello –  and thank you in advance for your help and patience with beginners.

I have two questions, for which I couldn't find anything online that works.
1/ how can I align the logo to the content. This should apply to all pages
2/ how can I get the space above the gallery much smaller.

I got the problem with the logo fixed. Of course, my mistake because of wrong settings.
But I really would appreciate if you could help me with reducing the space between the galleries and the text above them.
