Schedule Rolling Product Restock?

Hi there!

We're a business that sell unique print product which go out of stock the moment someone buys a single item. I want to maintain stock levels at about 30-50 items on the site at a time to prevent overwhelming customers with choice, but also to ensure a decent amount to view.

Is there a way to schedule products to become visible as others sell out to maintain a specific total product count in my shop? I.e. can I bulk upload 100 products, but only drip feed them into the shop to maintain 30-50 items? An additionally useful feature might be to automatically rotate products out that have had more than x months on site without a sale.

Any advice much appreciated!

Yes. Instead of directing visitors to the store page that contains all your products, direct them to a page containing a Summary Block that is linked to your store page.

To do this:

  1. Create a new blank page
  2. Add a blank section
  3. Add a Summary Block.
  4. Link the Summary Block to your store page so that it shows your products. Configure the Summary Block to show up to 30 products from your store.
