Onboarding contacts from CRM into SquareSpace

Hi all - we want to use SquareSpace for our email marketing campaigns, but I'm having a very hard time finding info on importing contacts with anything other than name and email address. I have 20K contacts I need to import with tags for different labels that I can then use to assign to different email lists. Is there any mass way to tag several contacts at once upon import? So far I've only been able to find out how to do this manually and it's hugely prohibitive to us onboarding. Am I missing something?

Yep same here. Absolutely need to be able to import contacts with tags if we are to move from Mailchimp. Gender, Address and Mobile phone number are also very important fields for importing contacts

Same.  I'd like to be able to tag someone automatically as they sign up on my website so I know which emails they'd like to receive. Pretty surprised this isn't a feature!
