CSM
Site URL: https://sealion-daffodil-ahcg.squarespace.com/ https://sealion-daffodil-ahcg.squarespace.com/ Site password: asdf I have videos uploaded directly to Squarespace. Both as background banner videos, as well as stand-alone videos on a page. My issue is that the background videos will simply freeze, and when they do then the videos I have on pages will no longer play back smoothly - those will also freeze while their audio jumps ahead 10 seconds and plays over a frozen image. All my outside (vimeo) embeds are unaffected. Videos will also randomly revert to the mobile fallback image while on desktop. This is all on a true fiber/gig connection. This happens on Chrome and Edge with cleared cookies & incognito browsing. I've noticed that reducing the video banners on the entire site (not just the current loaded page) help reduce the frequency of this issue. It seems maybe there is a limit for the length/amount of video that can be uploaded to a site? And that once surpassed the video playback just crashes for all of them. Link to comment
