Linking an email address that does not end with ".com"

Hi there, my client wishes to use an email address that does not end with ".com"

Is there a way to code a customized email address? I tried asking Squarespace and they said its not available at this stage.

Please help!

The red text is just an example. A .nz address is valid. Check that you don't have any invalid characters such as an extra space after the address.

As an example, here's what I see with an extra space. When deleted, it is accepted.
