Summary Block - achieve equal spacing?

I've implemented this code on my client's site to achieve the hover effect on the Projects page summary block - https://schwartz-edmisten.com/blog/title-appear-when-hovering-on-summary-block

I've set the gutter width to 30px, however there is some extra vertical padding due to the 'Title' having to be turned on in the Summary block settings for the above code to work. 

Is there any way to achieve equal spacing?
