Pick-up Email Notifications

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I set up the pick-up option for my client's new website by stating her location and that she will email the customer when order is ready. However, after testing it, she's telling me that the email for order confirmation says "We will inform you once the delivery is on its way". It shouldn't say this as it's set to pick-up.

Is anyone else experiencing this? What should I do? She's on the Business Plan.

Thanks

If Order Confirmation emails are showing the additional text, this is because you have not edited the 'product type' custom message to account for pickup. By default, physical products will include the text "Once your package ships we will send you a notification email" but you may have previously changed this to "We will inform you once the delivery is on its way".

You can edit this by going to Commerce > Customer Notifications > General Orders > Order Confirmation. Click EDIT and then click on the link shown below:  add-custom-message-product-type.thumb.png.22fbf0cead77102aee90f349f2aeb9a4.png

Let me know how you get on.
