jishoshua
Hiya, I have a counselling/therapy practice and take clients with Squarespace scheduling. I also have the Scheduling calendar synced with my Apple Calendar. The issue is that when my clients book an appointment the format of the calendar entry is "NAME: APPT TYPE". As this displays in my day-to-day calendar I would like the option to change the format to only show initials or some other way to anonymise the client. I haven't been able to find such a setting, if one exists. Is there any way of altering the way these appointments are named and show up? Thanks. paul2009 1 Link to comment

No. Calendar syncing should be disabled if you need to keep patient information secure, for example as part of a HIPAA compliant solution. It is not possible to anonymise or edit the information being synced. Other schedulers let you edit the information that gets sent so it remains HIPAA complaint or use a system so that calendars can still sync and be Hipaa compliant such as SimplyBook me . It would be so easy just to allow the information to be edited sent to be edited Link to comment
JohnBurnedIt
This may be an outdated question at this point, but I had the same issue. I did find a way to remove the %lastname% code from the client email templates so at least it only shows the client first name (I also have a therapy practice). This then syncs to my Google calendar with only the first name showing. Go to the email templates and try to edit the info. That's what I did. Link to comment
