JMPhotography
Site URL: http://hotelflorencespa.com/ I am having trouble getting a widget to work properly on both desktop and mobile. It works fine on desktop, but unresponsive on mobile except for the default button included in the navigation menu. Here are the instructions from the provider, which I have followed to the letter - https://support.boulevard.io/hc/en-us/articles/360016464912-Installing-the-Booking-Widget-Squarespace Again, works fine on desktop, but simply doesn't open on mobile. JMPhotography
Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Widget may not be the correct term, just what Boulevard uses. Every "book now" button is supposed to open a panel within the same window to use the 3rd party service. On desktop it slides in from the left. On mobile (and only in the navigation menu) it opens a new page. I'm trying to figure out why the mobile site does not work for the buttons throughout the site but does in the menu. alexedwardsva
Hi @JMPhotography super late - but how did you get this to work?? I’m working on a site and running into this issue on mobile as well but I see the site you posted above its working now! I’m trying to use the JavaScript:blvd.openBookingWidget(); in the button but it adds a https:// in front everytime I save it ughh Link to comment
JMPhotography
I honestly don't remember at this point. I built the site when I was working in-house for the company who owned it but have since left so I can't go back in and look at the implementation on the Squarespace side. I seem to remember having to work through Boulevard, the plugin provider, for a specific solution and is was a giant PITA. I know that's not really helpful...sorry!! alexedwardsva 1 Link to comment

alexedwardsva
@tuanphan thanks! https://www.zenskinbristol.org/about but if you click the logo to go home you will hit a landing page On this about page, I'm trying to have the "BOOK NOW" button on mobile work (desktop works great!) Boulevard provides this for set up: https://support.boulevard.io/en/articles/5941329-installing-the-self-booking-overlay-squarespace#:~:text=**If you utilize,javascript%3Ablvd.openBookingWidget()%3B HOWEVER with the new link editor update I cannot get it to save without automatically adding the "https://" and I think that's what the problem is... 😞 Link to comment

alexedwardsva
I added the code from our Boulevard account in the Header Injection then used "#book-now" on the buttons & that works on desktop but Boulevard is saying to use this code: javascript:blvd.openBookingWidget(); in the buttons for it to work on desktop and mobile. When I try adding javascript:blvd.openBookingWidget(); to our buttons it's automatically adding the "https://" in front of it which is causing an error. 😞 Link to comment
