SCAgency
Is it possible to have a spreadsheet, like a Google Sheet when updated change the tags and categories of blog posts? Client wants to list 100 community resources and their tags and categories are going to keep changing. They don't want a straight list, but a photo and details for each resource which I had envisioned as a blog article for each. The challenge comes in if 27 of them need to add a new category, it would require opening 27 blog entries, whereas a spreadsheet might be able to autopopulate / update the categories and tags assigned to the blog. Is this possible? Thanks. Link to comment
Wolfsilon
Hey there! The short answer is no, not from Google Sheets at least. Having Sheets tell Squarespace to "do something" would most likely require a custom app or integration to be developed and installed via the Developer Platform. However, You can edit the tags and categories of a selection of posts on the blog page: "your_blog_page" -> settings -> advanced -> manage tags or categories From there, you can select all posts currently published with a specific tag and edit them to have a new tag or category. It should apply that change to all posts in the selection. Link to comment
