btheleader Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Site URL: https://www.btheleaderdogtraining.com/ I've been using a contact form on my squarespace website for a few years now and I've just recently (within the past month) got this problem where a client will contact us using the form, but our response will go to their spam mailbox. I use gmail and have never had this issue before. Do you think this is a gmail issue or a squarespace issue? It's odd because they contact us first so I'm not sure why our reply would go into their spam box.
Featured Comment Susana_SQSP Posted March 4, 2021 Featured Comment Posted March 4, 2021 Hey @btheleader, I can confirm that Squarespace has recently received similar reports from other users. It's unknown why Google would suddenly start flagging form reply emails like this. While troubleshooting personal Gmail inboxes is outside of Squarespace's scope, you might want to consider reaching out to Google for extra context as to why direct form replies are leading to spam. For the time being, Squarespace recommends either deleting the initial email's contents when replying or drafting a brand-new email to the form sender.
