Horizontal overflow on mobile

I'm getting horizontal overflow on my mobile site - I have the code below but it doesn't seem to be working. Am I missing something? Thank you!

  overflow-x:hidden!important;
  overflow-y:visible!important;
}

html, body {
    overflow-x: hidden;
}

On mobile, the effect of the  code is that the page locks and you can't scroll at all.

Hi, i'm having exactly the same problem @pearler1570048501 did you find a work around? 
this seems truly bizzare and there doesn't seem to be anything answered here.

i tried .site {overflow-x: hidden;} too but that didn't do anything

@tuanphan do you reckon there is a fix? I've tried to ask every dev i know but they havent been able to help :S

I just test html, body {overflow-x:hidden;} and it works here. Have you tried it again yet?

The code works in hiding the over flow yes, but it then breaks the scrolling on mobile. it makes every page get stuck and unable to scroll up or down

Have you found a fix for the stuck issue?
