Solid box around active item on Nav Bar 7.1?

Password DMS

I am just trying to get a solid box around active menu items in the Nav bar 7.1. I'll probably have to change the text color for those active items as well. See the jpg attached

This looks a little dated but it's what my client wants.

Add to Design > custom CSS

    background-image: none !important;
    border: 1px solid green;

}
