Blogs + clickthrough image links to other websites

Hi there, 

I would like to have a blog page on our website which includes blog posts but also some of the images and excerpts are links through to other websites eg articles, podcasts and videos.

I've seen this done on other websites which look like Square space websites such as this: https://larger.us/ideas/

Is there an easy way to do this or is it a template issue? 

I am using the Brine template. 

Adding click thru url links  to Squarespace blog imges and text is pretty standard stuff actually, and can be done with all templates. 

Yes I thought it would be too, but on the image editor, there is no option to add a link to the image. It automatically links to a blog post. It's simple to add to the title of course. 

Where is the image you want to link? Image block in the post or in post setttings? If it is an image block, the url clickthru option will not appear if lightbox is enabled. Like you said though, you can link text from the caption to another source when using lightbox.
