Google Results Always Lead to 404 Page

When I google “[title of my blog post] and [my website name], my blog title pops on a google. But when I click on the link, it brings me to my 404 page. Any ideas why all of my blog url’s are broken? I very much appreciate any help!

Its going to this link: https://www.solokasfocus.com/blog-3/tag/Fitness  Do you have a page with the url slug "blog-3" ? because that is what google search  is looking for.

All of my posts had that slug until I recently changed the URL name for each. Did that mess me up?

Yes it did. If you don't want to name them again back to the original names, you can redirect the "page not found" to your home page. Go to design in config/404 error page use the pull down menu, with a list of pages,  to select your home page or other one. I personally use my "about me" page to intercept "page not found" visitors.

Haha dang, well thank you! Is there any way for me to find/revert back to the original names? Thank you so much for the help!

That you would have to do manually but depending how long the new names have been used then naming them back will still cause the error too. its a catch 22. I know I had the same thing happen when I renamed my blog from "blog" to "stories".  The search engines will catch up eventually if you leave the name as is.

Ahh I see, makes sense. Seems like the best course of action is to just leave it as is lol. Thank you so much for all of your help!
