serwin104
I am designing a checkout page for custom tumblers. I would like to add the option for the customer to upload an image of what they want their design to be. Anyone familiar with this type up set up? Link to comment
lawrence
I'm looking for a similar solution. I'm developing a site for a nonprofit art group that has art exhibitions several times a year. I need to have people upload images of the paintings they are submitting. This was easy in 7.0 and I'm surprised that such functionality is not yet available in 7.1. The commercial workaround SQSP suggests costs way too much for this group to afford. Ideas? Link to comment
paul2009
Squarespace does not allow uploading of files by anyone other than a contributor - on 7.0 and 7.1. You’ll need a third party solution to be able to submit files/images from site visitors or customers. About me: I've been a SQSP User for 18 yrs. I was invited to join the Circle when it launched in 2016. I have been a Circle Leader since 2017. I don't work for Squarespace. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥. lawrence
That's interesting. For the past few years, I've been able to have people (anyone, anywhere) upload files. The option is provided in all custom forms in 7.0. Link to comment

If you are referring to the upload button on this contact form, it is using Michael's third-party uploader tool to provide the upload function. 🙂 About me: I've been a SQSP User for 18 yrs. lawrence
Thanks for the clarification. I'll chalk it up to senile dementia (I'm 73 and do forget things now and then). So I apparently found and used Michael's tool to great effect several years ago, although I have no recollection of doing so. But if I did it once, I should be able to do it again. And that is GREAT NEWS! Link to comment
