Ecwid shop being cut off by Site Header

We're a distillery in the process of switching our website to the Squarespace platform. We're almost finished building the site but since we sell age restricted products, we had to use Ecwid, a third party ecommerce company. 

We seem to be having an issue where our site header is cutting off the top of our store. Squarespace says they aren't able to help with coding and I don't really have experience with it. I'd stay within Squarespace if we were able to but between Squarespace and Stripe, we have no choice. 

Does anyone know how I could add some extra space at the top of our "store" page so it's not being cut off by the site header?

It is normal for the header to be layered on top of the page content but, if your header is tall, this can be an issue.

As you haven't provided a link to your site I'm unable to see the issue first hand or test a solution but you may find that this gets you started. Add it to Design > Custom CSS and adjust the number of pixels to match your requirements.

}

I have the same problem, but my header is set at opacity 0%. I tried the code you offered below, but it made the header have a white background.

Where is ecwid Can you take a screenshot? I don't see any here

I sorry. I misread the original question. I don't have a shop, but my background video is being cut off by the header. I didn't read the question completely. Here is a screenshot of the home page. Notice the top of the video (background video) is cut off.

LOL - oh my goodness. You're right. I guess there is nothing we can do about that - if the videographer cut his head off. Thank for your help.

Sorry to butt in, but can I ask how you find the URL for a video like it is above?

I found some custom code to allow a video to autoplay, and it includes a video link like the one here (beginning https://video.squarespace-cdn.com/...). However I obviously want to be able to add my own video.

I see the video in this thread is set as a background, but I can't for the life of me find out how to recreate the link! 

I hope this makes sense. Any help appreciated.

You can upload video to your site, if video name is two-cats.mp4, then video url is: yourdomain/s/two-cats.mp4

eg: tuanphan.squarespace.com/s/two-cats.mp4
