change the background color of a section 7.1

hi there,

I'm trying to change the background colour of a text section using Custom CSS -  like this:

Quote

section[data-section-id="5f2868e87b714446c5885432"]
{
background: #929a82!important;
}

This doesn't work.

When I do the same thing for a block in the section like this:

Quote

#block-bd2cb0c08f0ef244b952
{
background: #929a82!important;
}

it works!

I'm a Squarespace newbie, so any help would be appreciated very much!

Hi there, i can't figure out how to change the background colors just on mobile for my site. It's all the same cream color no matter what the sections look like on desktop view. I have not been able to use code to change it at all.
