Newsletter Block Footnote/Disclaimer - how to change font colour?

Could someone help me amend the colour of the text in the Newsletter Block on our homepage? I've tried every way I can think of to amend it, but it always remains black and basically hidden against our background. Ideally it would be white text.

(Ideally I'd also remove the padding between it and the Sign Up button above so it sits more neatly in this section, rather than closer to the 'Upcoming Shows' section below?

Add to Home > design > Custom CSS

    color: white !important;
    opacity: 1 !important;
}
