Adding video to promotional pop up

Hello from Australia. I am wanting to add a video to a promotional pop up however at this stage Squarespace only offer opportunity to add an image. 

If there a custom code anyone can recommend? or an alternative. I ideally want sound and a short video to play on the promo pop up when someone first lands on the page. 

Any help would be much appreciated,

Great question! Did you ever find a solution @Meridian_Social?

Sound autoplay is not possible.

You can consider adding a Gif Image.

If video, you will need to code a custom promotional or use 3rd party plugin
