On an index page, I can't get the title text to go below the image.

I'm using the Jasper theme. It's part of the York family. On my page called Portfolio, I have the thumbnails for the various gallery pages. I need the title text close below the thumbnail so viewers know which thumbnail links to what page. It's frustrating to try and figure out how to do this. How do I make that happen?
