  1. Thank you very much for that critical clarification; that has helped me to better recognize the situation, and I will pass your replies to my coder. To confirm that I understand you, in the attached screenshot, the email address "orders@becomealivinggod.com" appears as both the sender name and sender email. That is purely a display placeholder? Acuity Scheduling has not at all sent it on behalf of my domain, thus it does not need an SPF record? I am triple confirming this simply because I will pass your replies to my coder, and he may mark this issue as complete, and not make any further changes to DNS, assuming the Acuity Scheduling will deliver fine as of the February 1 compliance changes by Gmail and Yahoo. Have I understood you correctly, shall I mark this as a solution to close the thread? Regrettably, the Acuity Scheduling help desk never replied to my help requests.
  2. Thank you @paul2009 for the speedy answer. To clarify, I know that Acuity Scheduling sends from its own mail server, but it inserts the customer domain as the sender, right? So, if my domain is mydomain.com and my Acuity Scheduling account email is mail@mydomain.com, my customers and I receive email alerts from Acuity Scheduling with sender as mail@mydomain.com. Please see attached screenshot of the sender seen in an email receipt that I have received from a new booking. My account email is orders@becomealivinggod.com, as seen. As a third-party sender, are you absolutely sure that that they do not need to give a SPF record? I confirm this a second time with you, because I have needed to add the SPF record of other third-party companies such as 1ShoppingCart, Discourse Forum, Zendesk, and Get Response to my SPF and/or DKIM records. Three of those companies use their own email service but needed me to add them to my SPF record and/or DKIM. What is the difference between Acuity Scheduling and them? Why does Acuity Scheduling not need this same treatment? Thank you very much, sincerely, for helping to clarify as much as possible. I need to pass your replies to my coder therefore as much clarification as possible is helpful, thank you.
  3. Good Afternoon, I own an Acuity Scheduling account. I need to add Acuity Scheduling to my SPF Record on my DNS settings. What is the necessary IP address or SPF address to add Acuity Scheduling to the SPF record or DKIM record? Gmail has announced that as of February 1, Gmail and Yahoo will force domains to have all third-party senders added to their SPF or DKIM records. As you know, Acuity Scheduling sends automated email notifications on behalf of their account holder with the sender address as the domain of the account holder. For example, if my personal domain is mydomain.com and Acuity Scheduling account is held under email@mydomain.com, Acuity Scheduling sends email alerts to customers with the sender as email@mydomain.com, because that is the account holder of Acuity Scheduling. I cannot find the IP address or SPF address of Acuity Scheduling to add to my SPF record anywhere in their help pages or online support. Also, I have contacted their help desk three times (support, developer, and squarespace desks) on this and not heard back from anyone yet. Please note, I am referring to Acuity Scheduling calendar account embedded on my personal domain, and not a SquareSpace store account or domain. I need the IP address or SPF address to add Acuity Scheduling to my SPF record on my domain DNS. Can any Acuity Scheduling developers, employees, or experts help me with this please? I need help as soon as possible to comply with the changes on February 1. This has been very frustrating, and if I cannot receive help with the SPF record in time for February 1, I will need to close my Acuity Scheduling account and find a new booking software, because third-party Acuity Scheduling emails will no longer deliver to Gmail or Yahoo. Timothy Donaghue My Acuity Scheduling account is held under my forum email address if any employee needs to validate me, thank you.
