Why doesn't site header use fluid engine for layout?

Good idea on hiding the header...but I'd still love to know why fluid engine is in the body and footer but not the header...I'd love to know Squarespace's logic or reasoning on this. -
Does anyone know of a workaround for this sort of thing? Why doesn't fluid engine live in the header, too...aligning things between the header and body seems foundational.
