I notice that on the vast majority of sites (either 7.1 or before), the header bar fades out and in with the rest of the page. To be clear, I am not talking here about fixing the bar on scroll, I am talking about fixing the header BETWEEN pages, so that the header itself never animates. I have built a number of Squarespace sites for clients over the years. I have recently been astonished at what cannot be done in SqSp 7.1. Some pretty fundamental things such as recoloring the button in the header, resizing the menu font on mobile, and having a gallery block, require manual CSS! Unbelievable! In future, unless a client is absolutely wedded to SqSp, I shall be recommending alternative platforms. Sorry, guys.

Did you ever get a solution to this?

This seems to be a repeat problem for users. Needs to be corrected, please!
