  1. Hi there, I am considering a third-party SS theme, but it has these Google Lighthouse Accessibility issues: [id] attributes on active, focusable elements are not unique some elements have a [tabindex] value greater than 0 Heading elements are not in sequentially-descending order Links do not have a discernible name Typically, I just tweak the front-end in whatever ways I can to mitigate these issues, because the back-end fixes are too complicated. However, I would like to learn how to address them in a way that doesn't involve removing all the design elements. For instance, I would love to link images AND titles through to the link, but "link does not have a discernible name" usually keeps me from linking photos. "Heading elements are not in sequentially-descending order" is limiting when you are using your text boxes creatively. What is the quickest and easiest way to address these issues (that doesn't involve a $50 monthly overlay app)? Thanks, Claire
  2. Kelly, Thank you! this is from a course I took - https://standoutsquare.space/ It is a thorough coding course with a ton of info, but there are shorter tutorials for things like this, too. I highly recommend it! Claire
  3. Here to say I’m also having this issue across multiple sites (3 that I know of) on Chrome mobile. Shame that a standard setting Squarespace offers is causing issues like this.
  4. I have this issue on a site where I am linking images - are there any examples for how to remedy this? Thanks
  5. Hi there - Thanks so much for your response. I have the gallery block for two reasons - - the client wants a smoother/slower transition between slides and - the client would like elements on top of the slideshow (logo fading in, menu) Totally happy to switch to a block if it's still possible to achieve these two points!
  6. I am still looking for a way to do this! I would like a diff height on mobile.
  7. Thanks for your response! This isn't working for me - I have a custom pin it button, which may be the issue?
  8. Hi all, Is it possible to keep the pin it button from appearing just on certain blocks? Thanks
  9. Hi there, I have a custom Pinterest button on my site, to appear on all pages in the place of the standard pinterest buttons. However, I'd like to keep it from appearing on my logo and a few other images that look strange to have the button appear on. Is there a simple CSS solution for this? https://goldfish-sunfish-7bdg.squarespace.com/ Pass: KLI Thanks
  10. Hi there, I am hoping there is a simple fix for an issue I am having. The gallery on desktop is exactly how I would like it to look, as a full-page slideshow is to be the focal point of the page. Additionally, we are fading in a logo over the slideshow, so we must use the gallery block vs. the gallery section. The issue is, on mobile the slideshow takes up only 1-2 inches of the page. I would like to make the slideshow take up more vertical space on mobile, essentially filling the entire screen, even if this means cutting off the sides of the images a bit. When I try to optimize the layout on mobile, it does not allow me to stretch the gallery taller. https://goldfish-sunfish-7bdg.squarespace.com/ Pass: KLI Thanks in advance for your help! Claire
