Yep! Under the gallery block, click design and check Show title and then you can update the title of each image in the gallery. -

I also recommend the BeyondSpace plugin: https://beyondspace-showcase.squarespace.com/pinch-zoom-lightbox It works well, easy install, and great customer service. Purchased for www.matthewgraypalmer.com See Stone -> Snow Canyon for better resolution photos. Some pages don't have high resolution images and will need to be updated.
