how I can downgrade version 7.0, I would like to change the template

Hey Paul, I'm considering to downgrade as well. I'm interested in the Wells template with the main menu on the left side. In 7.1 there is no easy way to change the heading to the left side of the screen. I don't have time or knowledge enough to arrange this via css and I don't have the resources to hire someone to do it for me.
